Ramses Temple
Nefertari Temple
In the south of the Assouan Lake you will find Abou Simbel,
a monumental site. Certain organised circuits do not
include this excursion systematically, but this site is
undeniably worth the trouble. The pharaoh Ramses II
already had 3200 ans ago a feeling for the style - and
to prove its power. On all the Egyptian territory, the
leader had established monuments, which still today
count innumerable visitors of the whole world. The
Temple cut in Abou Simbel's rock is impressive; it is so
enormous that one has difficulty to photographing it
only with a usual objective. |
